About AFS

The Abbotsford Film Society’s mandate is to increase awareness of and access to Independent, Arthouse, Canadian, Foreign, and Classic films. Rooted in Abbotsford, the Society exists to foster a sense of belonging around the shared appreciation of film. Our goal is to build a local community of film lovers who are more film literate and who think about movies as something more than entertainment, but as a form of art.
